What SAR does
SAR Engineering Works is the execution engine of the group. Founded in 1996 and operating from Darukhana, Reay Road — Mumbai’s ship-repair district — it delivers ship repair, structural fabrication, piping, hydraulic systems, pump and valve overhauls, and precision machining for ports, refineries, shipyards, and utilities.
SAR is also the group’s product arm: the modular jack-up barge family (12×12 m to 40×12 m platforms), the Ship Builder configurator, and the engineering calculators on this site are all SAR-built systems, converting three decades of fabrication knowledge into repeatable, execution-ready asset platforms.
